In 2020, a completely new concept store, T-HOUSE New Balance, appeared in Hamacho, Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
At first glance, it looks like a simple white box, but inside the building is a spacious space that was relocated and rebuilt from a 122-year-old warehouse.
An installation that expresses the latest aspects of daily life, including architecture, art, crafts, music, and upcycling.
It was inspired by the spirit of hospitality that dwells in the tea room, or T-HOUSE, that has been passed down from ancient times in Japan.
